Hailey's 3rd Birthday

Hailey has been talking about her birthday since before Christmas. She would talk about her friends coming over, blowing out candles, balloons, and of course cake. I was excited at first to plan a birthday bash, but after all is said and done, realized it was a lot of work. I got a lot of ideas off of pinterest but my stuff looks nothing like it. Pretty depressing. :( The kids loved it, and that is all that matters. We celebrated Hailey's birthday early with her friends and then had a little party on her birthday. The Party theme was a candy/sweet birthday. We started out with making candy houses:

Obstacle course- while holding a giant gumball on a spoon, weave through the lollipop suckers, and hop over the Hershey Kiss bars.

Punch a Surprise:

Playing outside:

Cake: Aunt Jaynann made her cake. When Hailey saw it for the first time she said "Wow, that's the biggest cake I have ever seen."

Presents: I saw Hailey headed for the presents and went to get eveyone. By the time I came back she had opened half the gifts and her friends were helping her open the remaining presents. It was a little chaotic.

The food: We had cake pops, oreo pops, sugar cookie pops, corn dogs, fruit in a waffle cone, turkey rolls, veggie sticks, and candy. I should have my hygiene licence suspended for unethical reason of how much sugar I gave to the kids.

The "after party" party:
On Hailey's birthday I felt bad that we didn't have a cake for her or any presents to open. So while she was at preschool Kate and I went on a shopping spree. I can't help spoiling my little girl :) We bought her a Repunzel doll and matching dress-up dress, bubble gum, fairy wand, sit and bounce ball, and her first electric toothbrush. We just love her. She is so smart, funny, sweet, and beautiful.
