Christmas 2011

Waiting to see Santa. Both Kate and Hailey loved Santa from a distance, they even had to be held back at times, but when it was our turn to sit on Santas lap they avoided it like the plaque. (Hence no picture with Santa)

Christmas morning.

Santa brought Hailey and Kate a car. At first they didn't want to drive it but after seeing their cousins have fun driving it they loved it.

Other gifts included and Xbox kinect, puzzles, bubble gun, cooties, Samurai (board game), Guillotine (card game), and a trip to NYC without the kids. I had to work the week after Christmas so our trip was a little over 24 hours. Rich and I went with my little brother Brent and his girlfriend. We pretty much hit all the big "to do's". I loved going during the Christmas time because of all the decorations. Times Square was my favorite followed by the Empire state Building. I have to admit the rink at Rockefeller Center was very disappointing. My next favorite was the food. We had the best pizza at John's Pizzeria, and some amazing deserts in a little bakery. We had a blast on our mini vacation and it was a much needed break from the kids.
